Is membership required to take Mature Driver Tune-Up?
No. Mature Driver Tune-Up® does not require a membership, subscription, or membership fee. You simply register and pay for the course you need.
Is your certificate the same as the AARP certificate?
Yes. We both issue the same Official California DMV Mature Driver Improvement Course Certificate used to document completion of the course. Individual certificates contain different student information, provider information, completion dates, and unique certificate numbers.
Will my insurance company accept the Mature Driver Tune-Up certificate?
Mature Driver Tune-Up® issues an Official California DMV Mature Driver Improvement Certificate accepted by California auto insurance companies for eligible mature-driver discounts. Your insurer determines your eligibility and the amount of your discount.
Does Mature Driver Tune-Up have quizzes or tests?
No. There are no quizzes, exams, or final tests you must pass.
What if I previously took the AARP course?
