Our 'Initial' Mature Driver Tune-Up® Course is for people 55 years old or older with a valid California driver's license who have never taken a California Mature Driver Course (some insurance companies allow you to take it if you are 50 years old or older).

Our 'Renewal' course is for people who have already completed a California Mature Driver Course (online or in a classroom) from us or another company.

Once you complete this shorter (4-hour) course, you'll receive an official California DMV Mature Driver 'Renewal' Certificate that qualifies you for an additional three years of auto insurance discounts.

Note: Your current Mature Driver Certificate must not have expired more than 12 months ago (over 4 years from your completion date). If it has, you must re-take the 'Initial' course.

$4.00 - Paper Certificate Mailed To You

  • Your paper certificate will be mailed to you by First Class US mail. People usually receive it within 5-7 business days after course completion. You will still receive your free digital certificate by email.
