Capital Letters Matter: Usernames and passwords are case-sensitive. That means capital and lowercase letters must be typed exactly the right way.

Wrong Username: Make sure you are using the correct username. It might be a name you created or your email address. Check your email or renewal letter to be sure.

Wrong Person Signed In: If you share your computer with someone else, make sure you are logging in with your username — not theirs.

Look-Alike Letters and Numbers: Be careful not to mix up letters and numbers that look alike, such as:

• The letter O and the number 0

• The letter l and the number 1

Caps Lock Is On: If everything looks correct but it’s not working, check that the Caps Lock key is turned off.
