Do I need to notify the DMV after completing the course?
No. You do not need to notify the DMV. Simply provide your certificate to your insurance company.
Can my certificate be sent directly to my insurance company?

Which course should I take?
Take the Initial Course if this is your first mature driver course. Take the Renewal Course if you are renewing a previously completed course.
How long is the Renewal Course?
The Renewal Course is 4 hours and extends your discount eligibility for another three years.
What if my last course was more than 4 years ago?
If your last mature driver course was completed more than four years ago, California DMV rules require you to take the Initial Course again.
