Your Certificate

The Official California DMV Mature Driver Improvement Certificate you receive is individually numbered and provided to us by the DMV. Only licensed Mature Driver Courses are allowed to purchase these certificates.

Mandatory Auto Insurance Discount

Your auto insurance company must, "...provide for an appropriate percentage of reduction in premium rates for motor vehicle liability insurance for principal operators who are 55 years of age or older and who produce proof of successful completion of the mature driver improvement course provided for and approved by the Department of Motor Vehicles pursuant to Section 1675 of the Vehicle Code."

The amount of your discount will depend upon your driving record, insurance company, and other factors. Insurance companies can refuse to give you a discount if you have a poor driving record.
